Random Ones

Just throwing up some random nail art from the last few weeks, not much else to say but I took pictures of them so I figured I'd share em, even if they're not the best.... I'd have to research every color used, so I wont list em, but I can find out if anybody ever wanted to know, as if there's a million people lookin at this blog...

Pink, Gold and White.
Inspired from some nail art I saw on FuckYeahNailArt tumblr, couldn't find the original source- but this is my take on it, super pretty colors together, I luv gold polish and with the pink- so girly.

 Gold, Black and Glitter Cheetah
I wish I'd taken more photos of these guys, they came out pretty well.
I got a little carried away with the glitter, and maybe a little confused as far as cheetah vs leopard print.
Either way, they were fun, and great practice with striper brush.

Light and Dark Pink Cheetah (or leopard?)
-still confused hahaa-
Another bad quality photo by Anna.

First day of school nails, very well received, ok well maybe only my new communications professor actually said something but I knew everyone was lovin' em! ;) Unfortunately I used a crappy top coat that smeared and totally cracked the design by day 2 :(

Pink Ombre

1st Successful Ombre Nails!

The right hand was tricky.
A little messy still.

I've practiced the ombre/gradient look before, but hadn't found the right color combos or technique that worked for me until now. I've tried multiple tutorials online, The Nailasaurus has a great one, but I found the makeup sponge to be messy and time consuming, though does give great results, if you practice it enough.
So I randomly grabbed some colors I hadn't used in awhile:

My longtime favorite Classic Coral Creme, is a sparkly bright pink with an almost sheer finish. I love it! I'm pretty sure I've never used the purple one before, but it's light, sparkly and blended perfectly with NYC's Wall Street, a creamy light pink.  I used a dotting tool for the dots on the accent nails.

Considering I wasn't even planning on doing a gradient look, and only had a limited time to get em done, (happy hr ends at 6,) I think they came out quite well. Oh and btw I did most of my right hand while driving (a stick shift) to Chevy's- Now that's talent. Oh yeah I topped these off with a glittery top coat- Wet n Wild's Hallucination, which actually came off a little chunky and thick, if I'd had more time, I would've searched for an easier to apply glittery finish. This one's gotta be a few years old, and could use some thinner but it did the job. I will say this again, bad photo quality I KNOW, I suck. One day, I will use a real camera! hahaa
